The Robotics Mentoring Extravaganza is a 2-day event with hands-on workshops mentoring youth, coaches and parents of all robotics leagues and teams in the Northshore Region. It is also open to the public wanting to learn more about robotics in our region.
Workshop sessions include coding/programming, game strategy, 3D modeling and printing, circuits and soldering, marketing and fundraising, community outreach, mechatronics, micro-controllers, drones and underwater robotics.
Workshops are held in state-of-the-art labs at Southeastern Louisiana University’s Computer Science and Technology Building in Hammond and the Northshore Technical Community College STEM Campus in Lacombe.
